One24 is a network marketing company that launched in August of 2010. The CEO and founder of the company, Mark Seyforth, and his partner Joe Perry, used to own a company called Seyforth Laboratories. They were the supply company for the company that their friend started (a little company called Herbalife!) Mark and Joe’s new venture is called One24.
Product
The main product that One24 markets is called NatraBurst. It’s a “super foods blend” that
contains six servings of fruits and vegetables with high ORAC (anti-oxidant) scores. It does everything that a good health product should do. It supports lean muscle mass, improves digestion, reduces appetite, strengthens immunity, slows down the aging process, increases energy, and all that other good stuff.
Compensation Plan
One24’s “revolutionary” compensation plan is called IRP, which stands for “Incentivized Referral Plan.” Mark believes the idea that he had when he was sick in his bedroom counting dots on the ceiling is a “disruption” to the MLM industry. There are 4 main points to this plan:
1) When you join the company, you are placed on a waiting list. Then you become a preferred customer.
2) There are no costs for replicated websites or membership fees. You only need purchase 1 product per month
3) Every product you buy will actually save you more than you spend
4) The company pays out 50% of all it’s revenues
According to Mark, you will succeed in this company by spending only one hour a week in the business. So you can keep doing whatever else you’re doing and not worry about your new business venture taking up all your time. Later on we’ll discuss if this is really possible.
The compensation structure is based on silver and green “PC’s.” You make more off of your green PC’s, but you can only place one green PC underneath you per month. The interesting thing about this program is that you get paid in company pools the first four months you are in the business. After that four months, you no longer receive your company shares, but you get paid shares in the linear line of people that are underneath you. There is also a platinum bonus pool that rewards those who are putting one person below them each month. The majority of your income is earned from your green PC referrals (and you are only allowed to place one green PC underneath you every month using a green “ticket”).
I must say that the compensation plan is pretty interesting when you compare it to most other plans out there. The plan seems easier for the average person to accomplish their goals of financial freedom. But, of course, how it works in the real world is still up to YOU (or anyone else who may decide to join the company).
The gold rush refers to the 24 green tickets that everyone is given to use for 2 years (everyone can only use one per month). If you don’t use your green tickets, you can give them away to someone above you and make up to a hundred dollars per month off of them. So theoretically, you can make up to $2400 a month for doing nothing but giving away your green tickets to “movers and shakers.” This causes the go-getters to be able to get rich and it allows procrastinators to make enough money to stay in the business.
Training
The training on the website is a 30 second training process that tells people that all they have to do is hand out their
One24 business cards and say,” Go to my website. If you like it, I’ll put you on my waiting list.” I’ve got to admit, it sounds pretty easy. Supposedly it takes the rejection away from the business owner and places it on the prospect. This sounds good, but do you think people are really going to wait around for your call, drooling to be taken off of your waiting list so they can have the opportunity to spend money? Maybe, maybe not. It really depends on the psychology of the buyer. It may work because once you take something away from someone (i.e. making they wait to get into your business), they sometimes want it a lot more.
Through the research I’ve done, it really seems like the owners of this company have the experience to really know what they’re doing. They are very well respected in this industry. I also like the idea of how the compensation plan is set up in a way to allow new people to start bringing in income right away, even if they’re not yet bringing people into the business themselves. The fear of loss with the waiting list for green tickets is also a very smart marketing maneuver.
I have mixed feelings about the company’s training process. Mr. Seyforth goes through his 30 second training process on the company’s replicated website. I explained the process above about handing out your business card and what you are supposed to say. I do like the fact that the company is simplifying the training so anyone can do it and that they are teaching everyone to do the same thing. What I don’t like is that they are not offering any advanced training for people who want to take it a step further and learn how to reach millions of people quickly and easily.
